My name is Tatsuya Ishikawa, and I’m a junior student in the Faculty of Political Science and Economics. I’m serving as the President of WIC for the 2024 academic year.
Starting university can be exciting but also a little overwhelming — and that’s exactly why WIC exists. We’re a community where you can find a sense of belonging, meet amazing people, and share meaningful experiences through international exchange.

新入生の皆さん、ご入学おめでとうございます！！この1年間WIC69代の副幹事長を務める、社会科学部3年の小松璃子と申します。
このサークルは様々なバックグラウンドを持つ日本人や留学生が集まる場所であり、そんな仲間達と時には真剣に、そして時には思いっきり楽しんで、日々国際交流を行っています。
新しい環境に身を置き、大学生活での新たな挑戦に期待と不安が入り交じっている方も多いと思いますが、WICはきっと皆さんの大学生活にとってかけがえのない大切な居場所となるはずです。

To all new atudents, congratulations on your admission to school!! I am Riko Komatsu, a third-year student in the School of Social Science, and I am the 69th vice president of the WIC. WIC is a club that japanese and foreign students with diverse backgrounds interact each other. We sometimes have fun and sometimes interact seriously. I believe that many of you place yourself into a new environment and feel a mix of excitement and anxiety about new challenges in college life. But if you join our club, WIC will surely be an irreplaceable and precious place to be in your college life. 新入生の皆さん、ご入学おめでとうございます！
2025年度WIC69代の会計を務めさせていただきます、早稲田大学創造理工学部3年の鈴木武留と申します。
大学生活が始まり、新しい環境の中で楽しいことが多い反面、不安を感じることもあるかと思います。WICは、高校時代には出会えなかったような、さまざまなバックグラウンドを持つ仲間が集まるコミュニティです。年齢、性別、国籍に関係なく、多様で個性豊かなメンバーとともに活動しており、どなたでも気の合う友達を見つけられる場所だと思います。WICは、真剣に国際交流に取り組みながらも、あたたかくゆったりとした雰囲気の中で過ごせる、メリハリのあるアットホームなサークルです。
グローバルな視野を持っている方や国際交流に興味のある方はもちろん、大学生活を思いっきり楽しみたいという方も、ぜひ気軽にWICのイベントに参加してみてください！皆さんにお会いできるのを心より楽しみにしています！！
Dear new students, congratulations on your enrollment!
My name is Takeru Suzuki, a junior at the School of Creative Science and Engineering at Waseda University. I will be serving as the treasurer for the 69th generation of WIC in the 2025 academic year.
As your university life begins, I'm sure many of you are excited about all the new experiences—classes, part-time jobs, and more. At the same time, it’s natural to feel a bit anxious about stepping into a new environment. WIC is a community where you can meet people from diverse backgrounds, something you may not have experienced in high school. Regardless of age, gender, or nationality, we have a wide range of unique and vibrant members, so I’m confident you’ll find friends you truly connect with. WIC is a circle that takes international exchange seriously, while also offering a warm, relaxed, and welcoming atmosphere. It’s a balanced and homey space where you can feel both inspired and comfortable.
